My dad was known for his Southern pecan pie making skills. They were a delightful delicious treat we clamored for. This weekend, I ate a lot of slices of Mia’s pecan pie and I gotta say, my dad’s pecan pie met its match. Not too sweet. Flaky crust and so many pecans, layers of them, that each bite filled my mouth with moist, plump, properly cleaned pecans. I tip my hat to the pastry chef.
